In our quest for potential Google-killers, we came across four likely candidates for bringing balance back to the search world (if not ending Google’s reign entirely). They include:

I still vividly remember being dazzled by the idea of making $1,000 a day from blogging. That was a little over 9 months ago, and the particular article I refer to is Steve Pavlina’s How to Make Money From Your Blog….

This is the cleverest idea I’ve seen in years (and Apple had nothing to do with it as far as I know): PlayPumps. Kids play and pump water for villages at the same time. Girls benefit in particular because they are usually the ones fetching water. How cool is that?!

JWT France are doing another web spreading animation, perhaps encouraged by the success of last years epic animation Wilkinson Quattro Titanium which played off the Oedipus complex with that baby who fought daddy for moms kisses. This time it tells the story of a poor cubicle worker who needs a break from back stabbing co-workers and that alpha male in the cubicle next door.
The end of the film says that “the quest for the ultimate break begins” and directs you to B…

Did Wieden+Kennedy and DDB Chicago have the weirdest brainsync of them all? They both fancy using Jackie Moon as spokesperson. First he was in a hugely popular Bud Light ad during the 2008 Super Bowl XLII, now he’s hanging around the same locker room espousing the virtues of le Old Spice in his trademark way. Didn’t Will Ferrel at some point say “hay, guys…. I’m already playing spokesperson for another brand here, airing at the same time..” I guess not.

by: Roger DooleyMost merchants would include “happy customers” as a key part of their
mission. Oddly, new research shows that sad customers are likely to
spend more money when shopping. Merely watching a sad video clip caused
subjects to pay nearly four times as much for a water bottle than
subjects who watched an emotionally neutral clip.
