People don’t read. Isn’t that a terrible thing to say? As a blogger, it’s especially disturbing but I have to admit that people simply don’t read. Emails, websites, blogs, whitepapers, press releases, functional requirements, acceptance agreements, terms of service, creative commons…. no one reads them.

Speak your blog posts and to-do lists

mosioI’ve written about a free service called jott.com before because I use it to capture ideas when I’m driving or reading the Sunday paper in bed. I just hit a phone number and speak my message and then I get the message transcribed and delivered to my email - or, and this is really helpful, to my virtual assistant or anyone else I have set-up, including groups of people.

The board plans to send a letter to Microsoft on Monday, spelling out its position….

second serving | MEATBALL SUNDAE

Earlier I shared a summary and some sound-bites from Seth Godin’s newest book, MEATBALL SUNDAE.  I’ve collected a few cast-offs from the editing room floor that didn’t make the initial sound-bite cut.  Just because these money quotes and action-figure photos didn’t make the cut, doesn’t mean they aren’t chewy. a google horror story: what happens when you are disappeared

by: danah boydEarlier this week, an acquaintance of mine found himself trapped in a
Kafka-esque nightmare, a nightmare that should make all of us stop and
think. He wants to remain anonymous so let’s call him Bob. Bob was an
early adopter of all things Google. His account was linked to all sorts
