Single-family home sales…are 22.9 percent below 5.80 million-unit level a year ago. Regionally, existing-home sales in the Northeast are 26.4 percent below February 2007. Existing-home sales in the Midwest are 19.5 percent below a year ago. In the South, existing-home sales are 22.0 percent below February 2007. Existing-home sales in the West are 29.2 percent below a year ago.”
