Confidential/Sleepy Hollow, NYThe Director, Financial Reporting is responsible for timely financial reporting to all regulatory agencies including the SEC, the NIH, the Department of Labor and the IRS. The Director is responsible for preparing the 10K and 10Q documents, coordinating the gathering of information, ensuring accuracy and sharing information with external auditors. The Director manages the work of the Accounting group and has responsibility for reviewing and posting G/L entries they prepare. The Director is responsible for researching and keeping up to date with any new accounting principles that affect the transactions of the companies. The Director must ensure that internal controls are followed, and that compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley is met.
