Strong American TradeSteve Cortes, founder of Veracruz Realtime Market Research joined the traders to discuss American stocks. Cortes thinks American companies could be poised for a comeback because spending on the war could be near a plateau and the Fed looks like it is done cutting rates. He thinks if these things happen the dollar could be ready for strong rebound. Cortes said investors should look towards domestic companies over mega-exporters. He would avoid McDonald’s (MCD) and look at Wal-Mart (WMT) and UPS (UPS).
