We’re hearing that a Houston-based an energy fund which took a short position in March 2009 gas futures and long April 2009 gas futures is getting crush. The spread on that trade has been widening all week. Energy traders are abuzz with talk of one fund getting crushed, ironically by taking the exactly opposite of one of Brian Hunter’s infamous trades.
